Docentes, estudiantes y convocados fueron parte de la primera Game Jam de la UNLZ, donde se crearon diferentes proyectos lúdico-educativos que abordan distintas aristas de la Guerra de Malvinas.
La Game Jam “Jugá por Malvinas. La cuestión de Malvinas desde el mundo de los videojuegos” tuvo su encuentro presencial en la Facultad de Ciencias Sociales de la Universidad Nacional de Lomas de Zamora (UNLZ). Allí docentes, estudiantes y participantes idearon y crearon cuatro videojuegos que tienen como tema principal el conflicto del Atlántico Sur.
Este evento, que se dió en el marco del Proyecto Educativo Transmedia sobre la Guerra de Malvinas que lleva adelante la casa de estudios, contó con el apoyo de la comunidad Acción Dev y la Fundación Argentina de Videojuegos (FundAV) y tuvo como instancias previas cuatro webinarios que se realizaron durante octubre a través del canal de Twitch de Acción Dev: Narrativa y elementos lúdicos; Construct; Brainstorm; y Producción y recorte de ideas, con el objetivo de brindar a los participantes las herramientas necesarias para el desarrollo de sus juegos.
Para comenzar, se plantearon ideas de juego y se compartieron conocimientos y experiencias en torno a la cuestión de Malvinas. De la reunión participaron Enrique Gutiérrez, profesor de Historia del Colegio Inmaculada Concepción de Lomas de Zamora; Luz Canella Tsuji, secretaria de Investigaciones de Sociales UNLZ; Juan Remulcao y Juan Pollio, por parte de AUNO; y Gonzalo Borzino, Nehual Pascale y Lino Sapetti, miembros de la comunidad de desarrolladores de videojuegos.
El primer equipo ideó un videojuego sobre el hundimiento del crucero ARA General Belgrano. En diálogo con AUNO, Gabriel Rossi De Luca, estudiante de quinto año del Instituto San Francisco De Asís, de Llavallol, señaló que la idea surgió de una excursión que hicieron con su colegio al Centro de Veteranos de Malvinas de Lomas de Zamora, donde uno de los veteranos les contó cómo logró escapar de la embarcación atacada. “Fue la historia más interesante que escuchamos en el lugar, así que mientras hablábamos en el colegio se nos ocurrió la idea y acá vinimos a darle vida al escape del hundimiento”, explicó.
“El objetivo es evacuar dentro del tiempo que hay y evitar ahogarse, a la vez que tenés que lidiar con otras problemáticas, una de ellas es el hecho de no tener luz”, comentó Gabriel al definir la mecánica del juego, y detalló: “Por lo tanto, “Lo que hicimos fue reducir el campo de visión que tiene el jugador para que así tenga que ir con mayor cuidado y precaución, a la vez que lo presionamos a que juegue a hacer rápido. Queríamos meterlo en una atmósfera de tensión, por eso incluimos fuego y un sistema de calor”.
Por otro lado, el proyecto del equipo 2 consistió en un “museo malvinizador”, una representación virtual del que se va a montar a fin de año en una feria de saberes en el Colegio Inmaculada Concepción. Natacha Gutiérrez Alarcón, docente de la Cátedra de Taller de Innovaciones Educativas de la UNLZ y del nivel secundario, contó que le añadieron cuadros, imágenes interactivas y podcasts, y que al final del recorrido hay una “trivia” que consta de tres etapas superadoras para poner a prueba el aprendizaje. “Ahí es donde estamos malvinizando. No solamente es recorrer, sino que es participar, interactuar y ver que te llevaste de ese recorrido”, sostuvo.
El grupo 3, por su parte, creó un “relato coral” del hundimiento del General Belgrano en el que se entrecruzan historias basadas en testimonios reales. Elías Brizuela, estudiante de Comunicación Social de la UNLZ, afirmó que es un “juego interactivo de lectura” pensado para lectores que quieran hacer una lectura “más amena” del tema, y agregó: “La idea es que se sepa cómo se sintieron, cómo se siente estar en un barco que se está hundiendo”.
Los integrantes del cuarto grupo desarrollaron un videojuego que “busca mostrar la vivencia de los soldados argentinos fuera de los campos de batalla”. Alejandro Pérez -quién participó del encuentro desde Misiones junto a José Luis Ramos, de Córdoba- indicó que en el juego “encarnaron” a un combatiente que “tiene que vérselas para sobrevivir” a los factores climáticos de las islas y a la falta de alimento a causa de la guerra, y expresó: “Nos pareció interesante visibilizar este otro lado del conflicto”.
“Ambos participamos en otras Jams anteriormente, pero esta tiene un agregado sentimental que nos mueve más profundamente; que es rescatar y mantener presente el reclamo de la soberanía sobre las Islas Malvinas. Lo que le da una valoración diferente, trae implícito el sentimiento de que estás haciendo algo más grande y profundo que sólo un juego”, reflexionó.
En referencia a la experiencia de realizar una Game Jam en un ámbito académico, Lino Sapetti, desarrollador de videojuegos e integrante de Acción Dev, remarcó que es “la primera vez” que lo hacen porque, además, tienen a la virtualidad como “una herramienta de federalismo”. Y destacó: “Lo que tiene de lindo hacer Game Jams es la importancia de tener al videojuego como medio para hablar sobre un tema en particular, en este caso Malvinas”.
Por último, Soledad Arreguéz Manozzo, docente de la UNLZ, editora de AUNO e impulsora de la Game Jam “Jugá por Malvinas”, aseguró que está “muy contenta” de haber dado “este primer paso” y de poder contar con cuatro producciones “súper variadas”. “Apostamos a hacer esto porque creemos que es una vía en la que podemos trabajar estos temas serios. Una forma actual que nos permita acercarnos a los jóvenes y que a su vez los entusiasmen, no el sentido de que solo juegan, sino que se transforman en nuevas instancias de aprendizaje. Es decir, juegan pero también aprenden”, concluyó.
